{"id":1150,"date":"2015-10-14T14:39:42","date_gmt":"2015-10-14T21:39:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mydiabeticsoul.com\/?p=1150"},"modified":"2015-10-14T14:39:42","modified_gmt":"2015-10-14T21:39:42","slug":"brain-nervous-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mydiabeticsoul.com\/?p=1150","title":{"rendered":"Brain &#038; Nervous System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Regarding human beings, they (we, as I am human) all have a brain and a nervous system.\u00a0 So?<\/p>\n<p>Well, recently invited to a seminar on the topic of &#8220;Neuropathy,&#8221; other keywords were adamantly recognized:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thyroid,<\/li>\n<li>Hashimoto,<\/li>\n<li>Diabetes,<\/li>\n<li>Chronic Pain,<\/li>\n<li>Lethargy (low energy),<\/li>\n<li>Inability to Lose Weight,<\/li>\n<li>Depression,<\/li>\n<li>Lobe Inflammation,<\/li>\n<li>Dopamine,<\/li>\n<li>Seratonin,<\/li>\n<li>Red Blood Cells,<\/li>\n<li>Temporal Lobe Seizures,<\/li>\n<li>Gaba (sounds like an herbal tea to me!),<\/li>\n<li>Cortizol,<\/li>\n<li>Acetocholine (Huh?),<\/li>\n<li>Nitric Oxide Activation,<\/li>\n<li>PEMF Therapy, and\u00a0more &#8212; yes, more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Are any of these familiar to you?\u00a0 To your loved one(s)?<\/p>\n<p>Having lived and meticulously dealt with demon diabetes for many decades, neuropathy has slighted me.\u00a0 It is an aggravating, non-stop, continuous companion that I do not like or want.\u00a0 My attempts to rid of it with a controlled diet and exercise keep it calm.\u00a0 However, it will not disappear.\u00a0 Due to being a &#8220;T1D,&#8221; (T!D), diabetes is uncontrollable.\u00a0 Believe it.\u00a0 Know it.<\/p>\n<p>Constantly led from one physician to another throughout my life (diabetologists (that no longer exist), endocrinologists, neurologists, general practitioners, family practitioners, etc., etc.,) along with the prescription drugs they offer, my chronic pain persists and worsens.\u00a0 Cures for anything are existential (unique and alone), laughable, unrealistic, surreal (expressing the workings of the subconscious), and now I&#8217;m off topic!<\/p>\n<p>Bottom line: During this seminar, I learned that many, if not all, of the aforementioned\u00a0human problems can be controlled if not alleviated.\u00a0 This link will lead you in the right direction to seeking helpful understanding, appreciation, and kind attention to lingering physical problems:<strong>\u00a0http:\/\/drjamesmartinsacramento.com\/<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I am glad I attended.\u00a0 Many facts were brought to my attention that I never would have thought of on my own &#8211; due to chronic pain, lethargy, and whatever.\u00a0 I hope you take this opportunity to review the website hosted by the esteemed <em>Dr. James Martin, Functional Neurology And Integrative Pastoral Medicine<\/em> (Eh?).\u00a0 You&#8217;ll learn a lot in a brief period.<\/p>\n<p>As always, my intentions are good, focused on the general public and its prosperous welfare.<\/p>\n<p>Just sayin&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>A.
