  by June Comarsh Gillam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>My friend, June Gillam, caretaker and long-time spouse of a diabetic mentioned herein,\u00a0wrote this poem with great love for him.\u00a0 Her shared and devotional intentions are purposely\u00a0written for all to learn.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.junegillam.com\/<\/p>\n<p>1.<br \/>\nAfter he wheeled his chair in, all independent like<br \/>\nfrom his morning shower just the other day<br \/>\nand transferred smoothly onto the king-sized bed,<br \/>\nI finished toweling him off and rubbed it dry,<br \/>\nfluffing up the curly golden short hairs it nested in,<br \/>\nresplendent in its pinky glow.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No gray hairs down here!&#8221; I marveled,<br \/>\nbending over my mate of 29 years<br \/>\nto rub my face lightly back and forth<br \/>\non his sweet soft sausage,<br \/>\nrolling it around<br \/>\nbeneath my lips.<\/p>\n<p>2.<br \/>\nBack when we were new &#8211;<br \/>\nHe in his black leather boots, and<br \/>\nI in my shameless hussy moans &#8211;<br \/>\nHe would have sprung up tall and hard so fast<br \/>\nI couldn&#8217;t have finished the toweling off<br \/>\nbefore he put to use that splendid package,<br \/>\nwith his bull balls slung low,<br \/>\nand banging gently on my bum.<\/p>\n<p>I would cling to his skin<br \/>\nand ride him up the steep sides<br \/>\nof the mountain, onto the high plateau,<br \/>\nleaving my mind behind<br \/>\nin the\u00a0merciful death of thoughts,<br \/>\nsimply flying his horse of many colors<br \/>\nacross the vast and lasting mesa.<\/p>\n<p>3.<br \/>\nAfter each of his blood sugar dramas<br \/>\nlike a five-way coronary bypass,<br \/>\ntwo carotid artery surgeries,<br \/>\nclaudication of the legs<br \/>\nand losing a toe here and there<br \/>\nhe resumed his relentless and leather-booted interest.<br \/>\nAlthough requiring some modifications, some assistance<br \/>\nfrom those little blue pills and from those brown<br \/>\npackages that arrived in the mail with various humming<br \/>\nand buzzing adult toys he wanted to try out.<br \/>\n&#8220;I&#8217;ll never quit,&#8221; he vowed and indeed<br \/>\neach time he rose again, triumphant.<\/p>\n<p>My libido shriveled<br \/>\nas spontaneous flights across the highland mesa<br \/>\nfaded into movies in my memory,<br \/>\nand it turned into an unexpected duty to search<br \/>\nto find my shameless hussy&#8217;s eager heart.<\/p>\n<p>4.<br \/>\n&#8220;I am still interested,&#8221;
